Fast File Uploads and Downloads
Working with the File Manager feels like working with your personal computer. The in-built drag-and-drop functionality will allow you to easily transfer files between your desktop computer and the web server. Just select the file that you wish to upload from your desktop PC and then drag it into your browser. The same applies to downloading a file from the File Manager to your personal computer. On top of that, you can download files and even folders to your desktop computer by pressing the Download button.
Easy File Editing Options
With the File Manager, you can create a brand new file or folder with only one click. All action buttons are handily placed above the file/folder list and you can modify your files easily. You can rename or copy a file, move a file to a different folder, view the contents of a file or edit its permissions, delete a file, etc.
Handy Archive/Unarchive Functionality
With the File Manager GUI, you will be able to compress and unarchive all types of files. It works astonishingly fast - simply select the files you would like to make a zipped archive of and press the Compress button. You can even select the type of the new archive (.rar, .zip, and so on). It is just as easy to extract files from an archive to a chosen folder.
File Editors
With the File Manager interface, you actually do not need any external software in order to modify your files. There is an image viewer, which enables you to examine the contents of your image files to get an idea of how the images will in fact show up on the World Wide Web. Besides, you will find several built-in file editors, which will give you absolute command over your files. The plain text editor and the code editor are meant for more competent individuals, while the WYSIWYG editor (where you can see all HTML code changes in real time) is also suitable for technically inexperienced users.
